We are pleased to announce that we had enough interest for Men's League which will allow the course to be closed for 40+ teams. Open Night will be on May 9th and league play on May 16th. The course will close at 5:30 in order to accomodate our 80+ players. With bringing in the PING golf club line, we are excited to have PING Demo Day on May 23rd from 3:00-6:00. Come see why PING is one of the largest of the remaining American manufacturers of golf clubs. Lastly, we encourage everyone to go online to book their tee-time. When making the reservation, the system will ask for a credit card to set up the account. Please know that your credit card information cannot be accessed and your card cannot be charged. It is merely to set up the account so that you can conveniently make your own tee-times. Simply click on tee-time reservations above to book your time and the players that will be joining you.

JUNIOR GOLF begins Tuesday, June 4th for Session I and July 9th for Session II. Session I dates include June 4th, 6th, 11th, 13th, 18th, & 20th. Session II dates include July 9th, 11th, 16th, 18th, 23rd, & 25th. Sign-up takes place at the McPherson YMCA. Information is on the YMCA website or contact if you have any questions. Spacing is limited so quickly get your young golfer signed up for this golf instruction summer camp. Your student will learn the basic fundamentals of golfing in a fun-filled camp environment and put their knowledge and skills into practice during the optional Thursday afternoon play. SNAG GOLF sign-up is also through the McPherson YMCA for ages 4-7 years during the month of June on the 5th, 12th, 19th, & 26th.

Golf Course Maintenance Updates

The aerification healing process has been slower due to the weather, so we are hoping things will progress now that the weather is looking a little better. Bathrooms should be up and running this week. We have noticed lots of stress and matting of the native grass areas. Please keep out of these areas so we can get the grass growing and healthy. We are asking that no one turn the tee markers. Turning the tees messes with the alignment of each tee which is placed in order to point in the right direction. By the end of the month, we should be sodding #16. The sod farm has been started and we will be working on it over the summer months in order to use in the fall. We apologize for the limbs and debris around the course at this time. The plan was to have our high schoolers clear this out during their yearly "Big Event" which was cancelled due to weather. With mowing picking up at this time, we will have to clear the debris as we go along and as we increase our summer staff.
